2009 FOCUS AWARDS

The Focus Awards is Women in Film Chicago’s (WIFC) annual fundraising event! It’s through your generous support of this event that we are able to provide programs and opportunities to our members and the Chicago creative community at large.

This year, the Focus Awards will be held Tuesday, October 20th, 2009, 7:30 pm, at the Chicago Mart Plaza, 350 West Mart Center Dr., in downtown Chicago.

We are especially excited that this year’s event will be an evening gala, kicking off with a fabulous cocktail reception, and rounded out with a silent auction, dinner and raffle.

We are proud to announce our 2009 Focus Award Honorees:

Janice Arthur, pioneering Steadicam operator, cinematographer, instructor and mentor.
