On April 27th the Chicago chapter of Women in Film held their Annual Meeting at Rock Bottom Brewery. The members only event brought in several new memberships. Current board members presented a brief overview about their respective committees, giving attendees a chance to meet the entire Board. Members also had the opportunity to vote in the new Board. Kathy Byrne of SAG AFTRA was in attendence to tally the voting. Sponsors, members, contributors and supporters celebrated some of the most energetic and talented women in film with great food and drink while electing new and highlighting the existing board members. All are excited about the upcoming ideas and events to promote the thriving organization. |
